But Lincoln were hit on a counter attack in which Zak Johnson who was Man of the Match cleared a shot off the line which was bound for goal.
Rob Oakley asked for a higher tempo from The Whites and they responded with good passing movement in which Lee Burns
crossed from the right and Jake Park arriving at the front post, side stepped the ball into the net to make it 1-0. Eight minutes later and Fabian Rowe (who also was involved with the Reserves the day before) was tackled from behind in the penalty area and Max Batty stepped up to take the penalty to make it 2-0.
The next goal was an absolute pleasure to watch, with the ball being played out to Fabian Rowe on the left who's perfect cross saw Jake Park on the edge of the box chest the ball down to Max Batty who volleyed it into the top left hand upright from 18 yards. H/T 3-0.
The second half gave the impression of a job done scenario with 5 substitutions being made but the team should have made more of the chances which fell to them. In the final 10 minutes another poor tackle from Wyberton in the penalty area saw Max Batty step up to make it 4-0 and see Max get his second hat trick in 3 games.
Overall The Whites were pleased with their performance but injury worries to striker Jake Park and Captain Jonny Wiles will have to be assessed before this Tuesday's home game against Gainsborough Trinity 7:45 pm kick off.
