United's excellent home form continued against Marske United but there was more to the day than just a result.

Two excellent teams always helps the spectator experience but sparkling individual moments enhances any game.

This game had both in abundance.

The thrilling finale was the cherry on top.

Marske are a class act. Their club officials, their Management, Players and fans were all top drawer and they have added massively to our Evo Stik League.

A crowd just short of 300 must have enjoyed a game that you just couldn't take your eyes off.

Added to the equation was a game superbly officiated by the Match Officials led by Referee Anthony Tankard. He got the balance right between awarding free kicks and allowing tackles.

I know home fans would have enjoyed it more because of Matt Cotton's brilliance at the end but Marske will be in the mix at the to of the table come April.

Well done all concerned for the joy provided at the Sun Hat Villas Stadium. Hopefully we have more to come.
