THIS TEAM REALLY IS A JOY TO MANAGE

Last night against Loughborough just epitomised what we are all about.

The first half hour was a pleasure to watch. We passed the ball well, made good decisions and created chance after chance.

The pitch was magnificent and you could tell the players were using it to their advantage.

Then Sean Wright gets sent off and you start to think we would rue our missed chances and dominance.

We got them in at half time, brought Redders on for Canny to be more solid with two banks of four and to a tee, the players made it work with a mammoth performance.

Spirit is used too easy in my opinion but that's what we have in abundance.

To put that kind of shift in and play for an hour with 10 men against a team sat in the play-off positions away from home was phenomenal.

Matt Cotton made his full debut and was outstanding as was every player but Andy Hutch for me was different class.

As a lone striker I don't think there was a blade of grass he didn't cover. He was a constant threat and got his rewards with a pen.

I'm just as pleased as well with the following we had last night and that they witnessed that performance because it doesn't get much better in my eyes.
