MISSED CHANCES PROVE COSTLY FOR UNDER 18

2 weeks ago By Lincoln United

After going behind in the first ten minutes of their FA Youth Cup tie the Under 18 side made enough chances to win the tie.

As it was we were level at ninety minutes after a terrific second half in which we had a solitary strike from Christov Pissi (pictured) when we really should have had more.

The first period of extra time saw our domination continue but after conceding in the second period we went scrappy and got caught out to say goodbye to the FA Youth Cup for another season.

Our League campaign begins on Sunday when we travel to Cleethorpes.

It would have been nice to have a couple of league games before we started the FA Cup but we didn't and our good wishes go to Heather St Johns for the next round.
