RESERVES OPEN UP WITH A WIN

The Reserves season got underway in midweek with a victory in the local derby with Lincoln Moorlands Railway Reserves.

The game was in some doubt with a thunder storm just before kick off but once we got kicked off it was one way traffic.

Missed chances meant we were goalless at half-time. We had to make a change at the break with Adam Wilcockson picking up an injury.

Centre-back Dean Tomlinson had already limped off after just a few minutes with a knee injury.

Immediately after half-time Lloyd Freeman opened the scoring and with Glen Atkinson and Ben Clucas totally dominating midfield it was no surprise when Clucas made sure of the points with a late goal.

Craig Leverett, who had to work late and couldn't make the trip to Stamford got a much needed 90 minutes under his belt.
