Tony was our longest-serving volunteer and he will be sadly missed. United chairman, Malcolm Cowling, said: "We are all stunned at the moment and finding it hard to take in. Tony has been with the Club for more than 35 years and he was a true loyal servant, turning out in all weathers to make sure the ground and dressing rooms were always ready for match-days. The thoughts of everyone at Lincoln United are with Marlene and her family."

Saturday's home game against Romulus will be dedicated to Tony.
