You wouldn't have predicted the score at half-time, however when United not only trailed 2-0 but had not threatened at all in 45 minutes.
Market Drayton have been on a good run since the arrival of Manager, Jimmy Mullen. The last time United faced Mullen was away to Colwyn Bay where the Whites led 3-0 with minutes remaining and we managed to draw that 3-3 having missed seven or great opportunities to extend our lead.
That was put right in this game when it was our turn to break hearts in the last minute.
The home side playing with lots of confidence took the lead in the 21st minute through Jason Francis and in the 38th minute they doubled their advantage when Stuart Ellis scored.
At that point of the game United lost Liam Bull through injury with Craig Leverett replacing him, but United were just pleased to get in at half-time just two behind.
The team was re-shaped at half-time with Leverett going up front in a 4=4=2 and what a difference. Leverett, himself pulled one back in the 57th minute and Tom Garrick levelled in the 65th minute.
A further chnage with 10 minutes left and Alex Troughton certainly made an impact but it was Tom Garrick playing from wider at that stage who got in ant the far post to score the winner.
Garrick has now scored nine goals in nine games since arriving at Ashby Avenue.
