Whites bag three more points
Lincoln United continued their winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Romulus at the Sun Hat Villas stadium on Saturday.
Sam Wilkinson's men had to claw their way back into the match which saw the visitors' take the lead in the 20th minute when striker Nathan Jackson prodded the ball home.
Romulus belied their league position and continued to put pressure on the Whites.
A change of formation by United turned out to be a positive move with Sean Wright pushing into midfield to leave the defensive duties to the back four.
It was skipper Wright who equalised in the 46th minute with a trademark header that left the Romulus defence helpless.
In what turned out to be a feisty second half, United took the lead with Phil Watt's bullet header from a Matt Cotton corner to give his side all three points.
The game was held up by injuries to players from both teams which resulted in 10 minutes additional time.
It was not a pretty game but a win is a win as Sam Wilkinson's men stay in contention for a play-off position.
