Premier Division Round Up

Erith & Belvedere will be aware of the hot breath from Phoenix Sports coursing down their necks when they travel to Lordswood's Martyn Grove. They hold a slender 2 point lead but have played 2 games more than their nearest rivals. Lordswood are in 9th place with places immediately above and below within reach.

Phoenix Sports are off to Rochester United where, according to form, there should not be any slip-ups, however, it's a funny old game. The Spartans are unlikely to go up (they would need a win by 5 clear goals to progress) but they are in touch with places below.

It's 3rd versus 4th as Tunbridge Wells (3rd) travel to Beckenham Town (4th). The Wells have played 20 games, 3 more than chasers Corinthian and Ashford United, while Becks have played 19.

Speaking of Corinthian, they lie in 5th place, 2 points behind 3rd and 2 points ahead of 7th. They are off to Badgers Sports to play second-bottom placed Erith Town. The Dockers are having a torrid time of it this season and would welcome a helping hand by way of a point or three today.

In 6th place we have Canterbury City who carry their grief for the loss on Sunday of their secretary John Barlow into this game. They are away to 12th placed Holmesdale. City are within touching distance of 4th place but could be caught by 8th. The Dalers could progress a place or lose two.

Ashford United (7th) welcome bottom side Deal Town. Nuts & Bolts could go up as high as 4th if results elsewhere go their way or they could drop a place if they don't. Deal, like the Dockers, are having tough times this season.

Sevenoaks Town are in 8th place and they are resting today.

Crowborough Athletic, 9th, are at home to 17th placed Fisher. The Crows are within reach of a place above and 2 places below while the Fish are dangerously in reach of bottom spot.

Greenwich Borough have played just 13 games so far. 100% from their games in hand would put them in 3rd place but for the time being they reside in 11th. Their visitors today are Woodstock Sports who are 2 places below them.

And finally, 14th placed Cray Valley PM travel to 15th placed Croydon.
