Behaviour Management Policy.
Linthwaite Junior Football Club firmly believes that it is of paramount importance when coaching football to have firm boundaries, and a clear consistent approach from our coaches.
This allows an effective relationship to be built between coach and junior member. At the fore front of this relationship there should be respect for both parties.
Linthwaite Junior Football Club actively supports and encourages positive behaviour from all its members, in order for football to remain fun for all.
We will not accept or tolerate any form of unacceptable behaviour from its members at any training session, match or event held.
Examples of Unacceptable Behaviour.
Verbal Abuse, Name calling, Disobeying clear given instructions, Answering back in an inappropriate manner.
Kicking, Punching, Pushing, inappropriate horseplay.
Bullying in any form- Emotional, Verbal, Physical
In the instance of unacceptable behaviour it will be dealt with by the coach in an age related manner.
First Incident;
The coach will give 1 warning, and explain why the form of behaviour is not acceptable, member will be asked to apologise to the other person/persons involved for his/her actions .
Second Incident;
Behaviour continues after warning- member sits out for remaining Training/Match.
Coach will speak to parent regarding incident and discus whether the level of the incident requires exclusion from the training/match the following week.
Where possible Linthwaite Junior Football Club will work with and support parents and members to resolve unacceptable behaviour.
If this behaviour continues for a period of time, it is down to the coaches discretion to ask the parent to remove their child from the club.
