LITC are delighted to have teamed up with Andover College and look forward to continuing their good working partnership during 2011/2012.

Andover College have agreed to sponsor both the community coaching team and the LITC under 12 squad for the forthcoming season.
Lions in the Community have been working closely with students from both Sparsholt and Andover Colleges over the past couple of years and a number of them have done their work experience placements with the team and in a number of cases actually moved on to become members of the community coaching team. Two recent additions at LITC, namely Sam Deery and Jake Hutchence are current students at the college who are replacing former students Craig Blakeman and Josh Barnett who have recently moved on to study at university. LITC very much hope to be able to maintain this link, which gives young aspiring coaches a great opportunity to gain experience and develop their coaching skills as well as supplying valuable employment opportunities.
In addition to work experience placements the team will also be involved in working together with the students to organise the two large primary football tournaments this year, namely the Town and the Rural Schools Football Tournaments which give the students valuable experience in planning, coordinating and running a big tournament.
As the college expands the range of sports courses on offer the LITC team will be looking to work closely with the college to help deliver aspects of these.
