Lismore gets Charity Status
Lismore RFC has now been accepted by the Office of Scottish Charity Regulator and have charity status.
We already have CASC status which allows us to claim gift aid back on donations (see Sandra's Friends of Lismore) if you are interested in making Donations. There's also an opportunity to claim tax back on donations for higher rate tax payers.
We've now gone through the process and have full charity status (SC043329), this allows us access to possible funding opportunites that are restricted to charities. Also, various employers allow staff to support and donate to charities.
We are now looking for opportunities to use the status, if you are aware or can help, please contact any of the committee.
