A crucial part of the Pink Warriors army, the Under 18's continue to impress as 2017 proves to be a huge developmental year.

Our Under 18's Pink Warriors have enjoyed a mix bag of results this season. Whilst they have suffered hugely with injuries and players missing for a number of reasons. The girls have contained to put in excellent performances where in another year they would have done enough to ensure silverware was coming home to  Rakewood.

An example of this was at Manchester rugby club where they close to winning the specific age group Lancashire trophy. Leading at half time and for the first quarter of the second half. Tiredness and fatigue became their undoing in the sizzling heat.

The same can be said for their Southport tour adventures where they refused to give up in the face of playing with just 7 players. Huge credit and respect from rival teams and coaches were rightly earnt.

A number of girls can look back on this last season with a blazen grin as they celebrated selections to Lancashire with captain Megan Dickinson soon to be involved in further national sides. Paige Travis, Summer Harris, Emily Wilson, Megan Dickinson and Olivia Frain.

2017 Award winners:
Girl of Granite – Paige Turner
Players Player – Olivia Turner
Most Improved – Emily Hilton
Clubman – Chloe Boardman
Captain – Megan Dickinson
