Littlehampton Town will face Worthing United in an FA Cup replay at the St Floras Road Sportsfield this coming Wednesday evening (15 August). Kick-off 7.30pm.
Following a 1-1 draw at Lyons Way on Saturday, a replay will determine which side will progress from the Extra Preliminary Round of the 2018/19 Emirates FA Cup.
It was a new-look side for Nigel Geary's Littlehampton Town who went 1-0 up in the 42nd minute following Jack Boxall's goal. There were good performances throughout the team, but late pressure from the hosts and an equalising goal sets up Wednesday night's replay.
With a new prize fund in the FA Cup this season, the winners of the tie will scoop £2,250, while the losers will take home £750. The winners also know they will face Kent side Hythe Town away in the Preliminary Round, to be held on the weekend of 25-26 August.
