Littlemore 47 v chipping norton 19
The last game played on the first team pitch
It was fitting that the last ever game played on the Littlemore pitch ended in a winning way against Oxfordshire rivals chipping norton.
With excellent support from the old boys reunion and our sponsors and with the conditions being ideal for some running rugby Littlemore again proved this seasons success is no flash in the pan.
Ben symington became the third Littlemore player to record over 100 points this season with 4 tries including a first half hat trick , which is a remarkable return for a tight head prop.
This season second centurion Stewart Beale also dived over for a well taken try , Adam berg delighted the crowd with his try despite the close attention of 4 chippy defenders.
With the score line heavily being in littlemore's favour at half time the player's were perhaps guilty of taking there foot off the throttle and allowed chipping norton to run in 3 well taken tries in a more competitive second half , two of these tries were converted.
With the Littlemore players starting to realise that this game was far from over , Littlemore went further ahead with tries from Jamie Kirkaldy , rich tattersall and Callum Dickerson and a 4th try of the game from Ben symington after a gutsy effort from chippy.
The first player to break the 100 barrier for the season Jonny Williams slotted 1 conversion.
