Both myself and Lee have had a wonderful time at Sedge, the people, the support and indeed the players have been a joy to be associated with. For those who know me well, you will be aware I have travelled from Harrogate to Liversedge for the past three years now, a journey that was often time consuming but never once, not worth the effort.
I have some fantastic memories of my time and wish everyone associated with the club all the very best for the future, the club is stable, debt free and heading in the right direction...........
A special thanks go to all members of the committee, your support over the years has been second to none. You are a fine bunch, honest, hard working and great fun, even when times are hard. A special thanks go to Steve Newton, Chairman, who has always been considerate, honest and compassonate. Brian Oakes, whos one liners never got any better with time! John Hewitt, Steph, Karen, Becky, John, Bob, Both Alans, Rod and Tink and anyone I may have missed, thank you.
The lads who week in week out pay their coin across the turnstiles, your vocal support is fantastic.
Finally to the players who have played in our time at Sedge, thank you for your honesty, hard work and the memories. Dispite numerous attempts to get you to move, you stuck with us, we thank you all...................
We are moving on to another great club at the next level, I only hope our time there is as good as our time at Sedge!
