After a successful start to Livingstons pre-seasons schedule with a good outing at the Lasswade Tournament including a draw with eventual Tournament winners Lasswade and a comfortable victory over Portobello , Livi continue their preperations this week. Matches against old Friends Forresters who include a number of well keant faces from the Calders team of the past tonight, followed by a visit to the North East to take on Durham/Northumberland 1 side Gateshead who include former Livi Captain Jon Aslet in their Ranks should give the test the boys need.
With the influx of new (and old) players the build up as been vastly improved from previous seasons , with the only blip so far the loss of Club Captain and Scotland Club International Andy McMahon to a dislocated knee at Lasswade , although he seems to be making a speedy recovery.
What the boys need most now is game time and I am sure they will be chomping at the bit to get out on the paddock in the next 2 games to hone in the game plan , especially after the late call off of Strathaven on Saturday
Tonights Game kicks off at 7:00 and their is still room for Supporters for the Bus Trip to Gateshead (£10 per person) so come along and join the Revolution !
