Llandudno have signed 24 year old striker Joe Chaplin from Conwy Borough to further bolster their attacking options. Although Conwy Borough are rooted to the bottom of the Huws Gray Alliance Joe has scored 14 goals in 19 appearances this season for The Tangerines.

Joe has represented Llandudno previously between 2009-2011 at U16's winning two North Wales Youth Coast Cups with the club. Joe then became part of Llandudno's Senior Squad under the management of now Director Grant Montgomery, but unfortunately never made a first team appearance due to an ankle break in training.

After his recovery Joe attended University at Cardiff Met between 2011-2014 and played for the then Welsh Football League outfit winning back to back promotions from Division Three to Division One, before moving back home following the completion of his degree and has spent the last 18 months at Conwy Borough Football Club.
