Introduction
LLANDUDNO RUGBY CLUB (UNDER 11s)
DETAILS OF TOUR TO YORK RUFC MINI FESTIVAL.
1) TOURNAMENT.
Llandudno Under 11s Rugby Team will be attending the York Rugby Festival taking place on Sunday April 5th 2009.
The tournament will take place at:
York RUFC,
Clubhouse and Grounds,
Clifton Park,
Shipton Road,
YORK,
YO30 5RE.
Registration is at 9.30am, with the first match scheduled to begin at 10.30am.
2) TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS.
The Llandudno team will leave Llandudno Rugby club by bus at 1.30pm on SATURDAY April 4th. Please aim to arrive at 1.15pm.
The team will arrive back at Llandudno Rugby Club on Sunday evening. The time of our arrival back is uncertain as it will depend on our progress in the tournament.
We will do our best to advise parents of our eta by phone / text as the day progresses.
3) ACCOMODATION.
Accomodation has been arranged for the team at:
YHA York,
Water End,
Clifton,
York,
North Yorkshire.
LL30 6LP.

4) SATURDAY EVENING.
We should arrive into York late afternoon / early evening. York RUFC have invited all participating teams to a BBQ (weather permitting) and Social evening at the Club on Saturday night.
5) TOURING PARTY.
Currently the squad consists of 16 boys.
The 14 boys staying in York will be accompanied by the 4 members of the Coaching team, and a further 9 parents.
6) REQUESTS.
The boys will be representing Llandudno Rugby Club.
We request the squad is well turned out and ask you to ensure they have black shorts, and the official Club socks.
We request that the boys bring adequate all-weather clothing.
We also ask that the boys have had lunch prior to joining the travelling party on Saturday.
7) COSTS.
Our sponsors have kindly helped the Club to fund this short tour. As a result of the generosity of Brewin Dolphin, Llandudno Garage and Peter and Karen Newton the Club has been able to keep the costs of the trip down to a minimum.
Each player will be asked to contribute £35 per head, and this will be used to help towards the total cost of the accommodation, transport, all meals and refreshments, and new team training tops.
Each accompanying adult will be asked to contribute £40 to meet the cost of the accommodation and transport. All accompanying adults will be expected to meet other personal expenses.
The accommodation has already been booked and pre-paid and the transport will be confirmed shortly. We would therefore appreciate early payment .Cheques should be made payable to Llandudno Rugby Club.
