Rejuvenated United settle for a point.

A rejuvenated Llandyrnog United were left to settle for a share of the spoils as they entertained Glan Conwy.
United now under the watchful eyes of Aled Davies and his assistant Eddie Culshaw were noticeably improved from the off. Starting with a similar side to that which finished so strongly the previous week, Craig Jones, Liam Jones and Brandon Keeting were both given big opportunities as they both started and set to cement their places.
The villagers could of taken the lead early on but Liam Jones' header was well saved but it was long before Jones' found himself in the right place at the right time and put the home side ahead from close range moments before the break, a goal that clearly meant a lot to him and everyone else.

Brandon Keeting grabbed a second for United midway through the second half with a great solo run and a stunning finish. Keeting came close to getting a third after a 6 yard scramble but the ball was eventually cleared. Credit to Glan Conwy they were not prepared to lay down and roll over and kept threatening the United goal but this week the United defense held strong. Les Brophy was replaced by Aled Roberts after taking a knock.

Richard Orme grabbed one back for the visitors as the ball fell to him on the edge of the box and he did well to drive a low ball into the Dyrny goal, this spurred on the travelling side and for the last 10 minutes they began to put United under a lot of pressure.
With only 5 minutes remaining Glan got their rewards when Merick Knights fine effort ended up in the Dyrny top corner.

A much improved performance with a lot of positives to take, hopefully a sign of things to come.
