Impressive United forced to settle for draw.

Another fine display from Llandyrnog in their last game of 2014 saw them forced to settle for a point.
Once again left back Chris House found himself in goal with both keepers unavailable but luckily he had little to do.
Both sides were feeling the results from the "Black Friday" with a few players looking a little worse for wear but as the game went on Dyrny began to play some great one touch football and playing from the back. Ian Williams and Billy Holmes on the wings looked dangerous whipping in balls for Craig Jones and Brandon but neither side had any out and out chances.
Brandon Keeting had the best chance of the first half moments before the break when his low driven effort was brilliantly saved by the home keeper and sent out for a corner.

After some wise words at half time, Dyrny were encouraged to take a chance on goal, something which Craig Jones took on board as he let fly a brilliant chance as his effort from 25 yards left the cross bar rattling. Minutes later it was the turn of Brandon Keeting who's effort shook the post.
Dyrny were now dominating the game and it was only a matter of time before they broke the dead lock, but to everyones surprise including the home keeper it was Llanrwst who drew first blood when a looping free kick was head on by Paul Cassidy and over the head of Dyrny keeper House on 78 minutes.
Luckily this didn't hinder United and they went in search of the equaliser. Billy Holmes was the man to step up as he found himself in the right place at the right time to drive home from close range.
United kept pressing for the winner and almost found it when Billy Holmes again tried a cheeky chip but the home keeper tipped it onto the bar.
A good point away from home and another good performance showing great character to come back from a goal behind but the lads will feel a little disappointed not to of taken all 3 points.
