United back to winning ways!

Llandyrnog kept up their impressive start to the season with another victory and a fourth clean sheet in five matches.

Dyrny had to brave the elements to come away with the three points as the entire game was played with a strong wind and driving rain.
They were once again indebted to keeper Rich Parry who made his second penalty save in a matter of weeks on the half hour mark after Miles Todd was harshly judged to have handled in the box. This woke up the visitors who should have gone in at half time leading after Mark Roberts poked just wide when clean through and Liam Jones hit the frame of the goal.

Conditions worsened severely in the second half making good football almost impossible but Roberts wasn't going to let that stop his goalscoring form and he popped up with a close range header to make it 1-0.
The remainder of the half saw the Dyrny back four stand strong, marshalled superbly by Todd and Parry in goal wasn't forced into a single save.
The game was sealed in the final minutes when a Dan Cox pass sent substitute Paul Williams clear on goal and after he was hauled down, Roberts stepped up to grab his second of the game from the resulting spot kick.

Manager Ryan Harden said 'It was an excellent response by us to a disappointing result last weekend. We had to battle hard for the 3 points but we were always on top in the game and thoroughly deserved them in the end. It sets us up nicely for next weeks big game with last seasons champions Treaddur Bay who have won every game so far this season'.
Harden singled out Sion Davies for praise in his first start of the season after a long term injury but gave the man of the match award to Dan Lloyd for another impressive display at left back.
