United make plans for future.

Llandyrnog United are pleased to unveil their new Reserve set up as they look to focus on developing young players into the first team.

Former Denbigh Development Team Manager Nick Hailes will take over for the 2018/19 season which will see 'Dyrny Reserves enter the Welsh Alliance Reserve League which will be a big step up from the Clwyd League and chance to play on some fantastic pitches and a great stage for youngsters to improve and develop as players.

Its a big challenge for Nick who brings with him his own managment team
Nick said,
"Im really pleased to be on board with a club that wants to progress the local youth. Llandyrnog want the same things I want from a club, that is we act as a club not as individual teams. Ryan and the executive committee have been really good about the plan for the club and facilities. The challenge will be difficult as we are in the more improved Welsh Alliance Reserve League but with the right mix of experience and youth I look forward to developing the lads forward into the 1st team. Roll on pre season and the start of the new campaign!"

Nick and team wasted no time in getting players signed up, with last season's Players Player Matthew Griffiths putting pen to paper followed by Managers Player Matthew Williams.
Majority of last season's Reserve squad have committed including Ross Gilbert while several new signings were eager to join with Josh Griffiths, Rob Blythin, Josh Jones, Ashley Andrews, Adam Jones all signing this evening.
More signings to follow.

Big welcome to Nick and team and best of luck!

Jimmy McNally will now step up to be part of the First Team management team. Everyone at the club is delighted that Jimmy has decided to stay on board and it's hoped he can continue his excellent work within the club!
