Bold but exciting venture for United..

With the FAW, the football governing body for Wales announcing their proposed new criteria for Welsh Football coming into practice in the 20/21 season this will be a huge shake up affecting many clubs throughout Wales with new pitch regulations, ground criteria, seated stands and many more factors which will in turn lead to massive implications for many clubs.

Following these new proposed plans, Llandyrnog United have take the bold but exciting venture to look at the possibility of relocating away from their iconic Cae Nant ground.

Llandyrnog United haven't taken this decision lightly but believe this is a long term project and one which will benefit the club for years to come.
With the new criteria, our current set up wouldn't meet the new rules leaving us with the only option to play local area football or fold the club altogether.

Our small but dedicated committee have managed to secure in, principle, the field adjacent to the now vacant ARLA factory.
If we are successful we will be able to offer young people a chance to play and develop on one of the best purpose built pitches in the area for the first time in our 43 year history and once again be able to compete with the neighboring teams.

We will be holding an open / coffee morning in Llandyrnog Cocoa rooms on October 20th for everyone to call in and have a chat, view our proposed plans and meet our committee members.
Our plans will also be able to view in the Llandyrnog Pavilion for the next 28 days as of Saturday 13th.
