The Warriors held their annual presentation evening recently at Burry Port. Irt was a double celebration as the Warriors celebrated their 20th season with members of the original team that took the field 20 years ago in attendance.
Medals were handed out to all players by Wales Under 20s Captain Tom Phillips before the main awards.
The awards were presented by Ray Millet, who Captained the club through its 1st three seasons.
The top point scorer was Simon Jenkins and top try scorer was Andrew Davies.
Most improved player was Dai Haines who in his 1st season proved a strong carrying forward.
The Lewis Jones Sportsman of the year award went to veteran forward Paul JJ Davies for his permanently positive attitude.
Players’ Player went to Burry Port wingman Simon Day.
The Player of the Year went to another forward – Tom Hall. The youngster provided a physical threat all season and constantly showed he was happy to get himself involved in the hard work at rucks and mauls.
The evening was topped off with the fresh off the press news that the Warriors had secured the Ability Rugby International Participation Championship.

Thanks to Burry Port RFC, Clive the Jive, Lesley Dawe, Alison Harris and all who supported, remember to check out both albums of photographs from a great night.
