The Warriors had a great day at the Bryncethin Social touch 7s.

A small elite squad: Darren Pollitt, Andrew Davies, John Horwood, Ryan Morgan, Tom Hall, Simon Day and Richard Evans with support from Gwilym Lewis (played 2 mins while Polly put his boots on) and Rich Llewelyn alongside various friends and family.
Touch rugby not really being the Warriors ‘thing’ the team found it hard going on the field, results as follows:

Rebels 6-1 Llanelli Warriors (Polly getting the Warriors score)
Warriors 6-3 Llanelli Warriors (Tominator (2) and Polly scoring)
Bryncethin Wildcats 6-3 Llanelli Warriors (much improved performance)
Oakland Drinker 3-2 Llanelli Warriors
Water Wheelers 6-3 Llanelli Warriors (best performance so far with some nice movment in attack and better defence)
Bryncethin ladies 2-1 Llanelli Warriors (Hall scores a try to lead for the 1st time but a disappointing performance)
Eager Beavers 0-6 Llanelli Warriors (best is saved to last with Polly, Daydream and Ryan each getting two tries).

Despite results not going their way (until the end), the team enjoyed the day and conducted themselves admirably. SOme good skills were shown throughout and they worked hard on their game. This was recognised by Bryncethin RFC when the Warriors were awarded the Community Shield for their spirit and attitude.

The Warriors were very grateful for the great welcome they had at Bryncethin and would love to arrange a fixture there at some point.
