Warriors impress Giants with strong display
All round effort sees Warriors home in late friendly.
The Warriors managed a cohesive performance against the invitation side but had to turn round a half time deficit to ensure the victory.
The Warriors were able to name a pretty settled side but not having played for several weeks they took a while to settle.
The Giants had plenty of inside information with the vast majority of the team having played for the Warriors at some point.
Well marshalled by competitive young scrum half Morgan, the Giants gave as good as they got early on with some plenty of grunt up front with Steffan Arthur and Tom Dew running hard and the incisive running of James Jeffery behind.
The Warriors drew first blood with busy Captain Richard Evans burrowing over but and interception by Ben Griffiths compliment Tomas Sheehan's neat dummy and sprint to the line. Despite the efforts of Kearney and Ladd the Warriors couldn't quite get over the line and the 1st half ended with the Giants 10-7 up.
