Sunshine Rugby to round off season
Hot sunshine and hot handling saw the Warriors finish off the season in style.
A lack of opponents saw the Llanelli Warriors split amongst themselves for this final run out to end an incredible season in some style.
The match lacked for nothing in terms of commitment with players eager for bragging rights over the summer months with Lee Rowlands in particular thumping his way around the field.
Jamie Evans go the games first score when he broke free to go under the posts but Gareth Ladd was the main man in the first half, his support play bringing him a hattrick of tries that gave the whites the edge. The play was fast and open throughout with some excellent off loading out of the tackle. Just as Ladd had benefited for the whites, Jordan Jones got a brace for the reds to keep them in the game.
A cracking chip kick made a try for Simon Day on the wing but the whites deserved the victory. Rowlands and Ben Win getting scores and versatile prop Colin Tacon was named Man of the Match for another all action performance.
The game rounded off the season proper but will also serve as excellent preparation for the Warriors 7s (June 9th) and Bradford Tour (July 28th)

A cracking run out for the team. Comedy moment was Gwilym being flattened by team mate Lee Rowlands and the Whites tried to escape from behind their own line followed by Simon Day, scoring with a headbutt that gave himself a black eye. Some top tackles as well (Polly & Day) and a mention for Nathan Jones and James Duchess who are both developing well.
