When they Warriors played Hafan Y Coed Nursing Home (STAFF!!) they asked that women be allowed to play.
The Warriors strong female following then wanted to get involved. After several eventful training sessions, 4 still wanted to play; Claire Darkins, Lisa Madden (Now Folkes), Yvonne Andrews and Tanya Haddock.
It was decided that Tanya and Claire would play the 1st half, Lisa and Yvonne the 2nd.
Tanya managed to miss the honour of becoming the Warriors 1st female player when she went missing just before kick off, so took the field a few minutes into play.
