Ten man Llanfair beat Builth Wells
After going down to 10 men after only half an hour, Llanfair dug in deep and produced a professional performance to get all 3 points.
The game began well for Llanfair, Josh Astley on the score sheet once again with an early goal.
Things turned sour for Llanfair around the 30 minute mark when Nathan Edgington was shown a straight red card for violent conduct.
Llanfair played well and saw the half out and should probably have been more goals to the good but Toby Evans and Karl Seliaerts both missed good chances.
Early in the second half, Llanfair were awarded a penalty for handball which Karl Seliaerts dispatched emphatically to make it 2-0.
Moments later though, Builth made it 2-1 with a close range effort.
However Llanfair reacted well and with 15 minutes left on the clock, a long ball forward by Rob Bumford found Josh Astley who brought the ball down brilliantly and finished well from 20 yards with a low, placed effort.
In the dying minutes, good work down the right hand side by Ryan McVeagh led the youngster to cross for Toby Evans who couldn't miss from 6 yards out.
