WHAT AN AWARDS DAY! Sponsored walk, games and of course a certain Mr Shane Williams to present the awards.

The day started in the wet at Cae Hafren as more than 100 people load into the bus (special thanks to ED COATES and CELTIC TRAVEL for that) and cars for the short journey up to the Red Kite Cafe at the Dam.

As we got off the bus the rain abated and it was the start of a glorious day. It was great to see the Club Chairman & committee, also the Club Captain/coaches/players, walking with the junior, girls, & minis supported by family and other club members. Down from the dam they came, a lap around town and off to Cae Hafren.

Good on them, the money raised will go towards servicing the WOLF PACK DEN --- their Friday night social night during the season.

Please hand monies / forms to Adam at school or to Roger at the Price's hardware store in town.

Thanks to DARREN WILLIAMS for printing the sponsor forms. Hats off the Roger Evans and Adam Price for organising such a successful enjoyable event.

A quick change for the y7, & yr 8 players, then the final rubber of the U13 WOLFPACK v U13 SHEWOLVES, what a cracking match, the boys started quickly throwing the ball wide at every opportunity. The girls rallied for periods of the first half but unforced errors proved their undoing as the boys looked comfortable at 5 tries up at the break. What a swing in momentum after the break, the girls started to clawback a foothold in the game. the ball started to stick and they scored and scored and scored again. The boys counterattacked twice from within their 22m and scored on both occasions. Final score 7-5. Which left the bloys claiming victory with 2 wins in 3 matches and the girls claiming victory as they outscored the boys 20-18 over the three matches. Wonderful, respectful, inner club rivalry.

Then it was onto the big event. Mr Shane Williams, a legend in his own lifetime, arrived the players loved receiving their awards from him and the mothers welcomed the photo opportunity he gave afterwards.

Then it was the seniors turn, 7:30 sit down dinner, the awards and live music capped off a great day for the club.

Is it a blue print for future years, have your say, let people know
