The reserves started their league campaign against a strong Morda side. The opening exchanges saw a good opening game of football. The visitors took the lead from the penalty spot. However on the half hour the reserves equalised after Ryan Broadbent calmly slotted past the advancing keeper. Morda took the lead before the stroke of half time.
Early in the second half the reserves equalised once again through a Barry Morris goal, but almost immediately Morda retook the lead. This seemed to take the wind out of the sails and Morda scored 2 further goals to complete the scoring.
The reserves played some good football and will be looking to gain a result on Tuesday away to Llanfyllin.
