The first team made the long trip to Ynys Mon in good spirits and were rewarded with 3-2 result. Llan started strongly and took the lead on 6 minutes after good work from Marc Griffiths from the left saw him place his shot in the bottom right hand corner. The hosts were back in the game on 13 minutes. Connor Lee made a good save from a long distance strike, but from the resulting corner a penalty was awarded when the ball struck Dan Kelly on the hand. Connor saved the initial penalty but the Holyhead centre forward was on hand to score the rebound. The game was then a tight affair until the stroke of half time when Holyhead took the lead after a defensive mix up.

The last 5 minutes saw the defence stand firm to ensure that we left the island with 3 valuable points.
