Players go Travelling – Best Wishes Boys
Gareth Davies & Huw Williams both played their last game in Black Army colours this season before setting off on their respective travels around the globe.
Huw “The Hooker” Williams leaves for the USA and will be joining up with the Denver Rugby Club in Colorado whilst Gareth “Jonny” Davies leaves for the southern hemisphere including New Zealand.
Huw joined us from Llantwit Major RFC during our Division 1 campaign and has established himself to become 1st choice this season and the Denver Rugby Club are thrilled that he will be linking up with them http://www.denver-rugby.com/?p=862
Gareth has also established himself and has become the no1 no10 this season after joining us from Penarth RFC and after another impressive display with the boot last Saturday v Ynysybwl , where he kicked 20 points, he has to date become the highest points scorer this season passing the 100 points mark.
Gareth will be back in time for pre season and we look forward to seeing him in Black & Green again next season. Huw will be away for a year and will consider playing again depending on the success of his music & singing career!
