Looking Forward to the Weekend
A preview of Welfare's games this week....
Welfare First Team are at home to Chirk AA's this weekend in a WNL Premier League fixture. The visitors arrive at 'The Ring' after dumping well placed Cymru Alliance side Buckley Town out of the NEWFA Cup on Tuesday night; in a game that went to extra time and penalties. It's a tough task for the home team but one that I'm sure they will relish.
The Reserves have also got a difficult game away at high flying Airbus UK. I'm sure they will be hoping for a repeat of the result of two seasons ago when they recorded a handsome victory against the then league leaders.
Both games kick off at 2pm.
