With the First Team without a fixture all the action was at "The Ring" where The Reserves hosted Hawarden Rangers. Despite Welfare taking the lead three times they were unable to hold on to their advantage and went down 4-3 to the hard running visitors. A terrific hat trick from Damian Wilkins not enough to secure a result.
