Welfare First Team were left stunned by a 6-0 reverse in today's game against visitors Chirk AAAs. The home side turned in a solid performance with a single goal separating the sides for the first hour. But a four goal flurry in a frantic ten minute spell ended any hopes Welfare had of engineering any kind of a result.

The Reserves had no better fortune at Holyhead Road, falling to 3-1 defeat with Damian Wilkins grabbing a consolation goal for Welfare.
