Thanks to Phil Jones and the Leader for their take on Welfare's weekend games...

"Ruthin Town whitewashed Llay Welfare 5-0 and there was a hero turned villain display by Ruthin striker Jordan McCarter who grabbed a perfect hat-trick and was shortly after dismissed. Making up the Ruthin nap hand were Gwidion Owen and Garmon Hafal and all of the goals came in a one sided opening half."

"Llay Welfare were turned over 4-3 at home against Coedpoeth United but made a scrap of things in the end pegging goals back through Tom Prebble, Mat Levy and Luke Cahill."

"In the Under 18 division, there was a goalfest at Llay Welfare where Holywell Town triumphed 5-4. James Wellings produced a double, while Jack Pennington, Ryan Jones and Brady McGilloway also popped up with goals for the visitors, who conceded via Thomas Moore, Thomas Hardy, Liam Reeves and Joe Crocombe."
