Blueboys Striker is Released
Disappointed Aaron Clarke has been released by Blueboys.
Striker Aaron Clarke has asked and been released from the London Colney squad after he was disappointed at been constantly overlooked as a starter for the Blueboys due to the form of Matt Newman and Jimmy Warner, He was used as an substitute for most of the season.
Aaron wanted more games under his belt as a starter but Manager Ryan Thompson was unable to guarantee him a starting place especially as the main strike force of Newman and Warner have scored 38 goals between them with more than half the season to complete.
It is understood that Clarke will sign for Blueboys near neighbours Colney Heath who play in the Premier Division.
Clarke leaves with our best wishes and good luck for the future.
