Early Knightly goal gives Sun Sports the blues
Craig Knightly's early goal after 3 minutes gave the Blueboys the incentive to push on in their quest for promotion.
Early goals from Craig Knightly (3mins) and the prolific Matt Newman
(6 mins)gave manager Ryan Thompsons team the initiative to go on and dominate a one sided fixture against a plucky bottom of the table Sun Postal Sports, The first half saw colney create chance after chance with the visitors defence being constantly stretched.
HT Blueboys 2 v 0 Sun Postal
The second half started much the same as the first with the strong wind at the homesides back who again were dominating the play then after 50 minutes Matt Newman hit his second goal and stricking partner Jimmy Warner adding another after 60 minutes to complete the scoring leaving a fourteen point gap between the Blueboys in First place and Second Ampthill Town who have 3 games in hand with a horrendous fixture backlog.
