50th Anniversary Weekend in Cornwall - 2012
A weekend has been organised in Cornwall on 5/6/7 October 2012 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding in 1962 of the Cornish Exiles, which was quickly renamed London Cornish RFC, in Fleet Street's Cock Tavern by a group of like minded men from God's Country.
Plans for weekend at the Hotel Bristol, Newquay
· Friday
o 7pm Reception and buffet
· Saturday
o Breakfast
o People organize their own trips for late morning and afternoon
o 7:00 for 7:30pm Dinner
o Disco in ballroom
· Sunday
o Breakfast
o Possibly rugby on the beach in the morning
o Lunch at The Watering Hole (pub on the beach at Perranporth)
Accommodation should be booked directly with the Hotel Bristol.

The Hotel Bristol have very kindly extended the 'early bird' hotel room booking from the end of January to the end of March. They currently still have rooms available, but if you plan on coming and havent yet booked, phone them to book and send then your cheque asap.

Contrary to how it looks there are over 50 people currently confirmed as attending the 50th Anniversary Dinner in Newquay on 6th October 2012. I'm sure there are many out there who plan on coming but have not yet got around to booking. Everything is organised and it now just needs word of the event to spread.
