London Cornish host the newly crowned London Two South-West Champions on Saturday as Guildford visit The REMPF, in a game that kicks off at 2:15pm.

The Surrey side have had a sensational season, having suffered just one defeat, an 18-15 reverse at second placed Gosport & Fareham on 23rd November. Their current run of form sees them having won their last fifteen matches.

If their worthy winning of the league is not enough, Guildford also have a realistic chance of making a Twickenham Final this season as they host Southern Counties South side Trowbridge in the R.F.U. Intermediate Cup Semi-Finals next weekend at their Broadwater Park ground.

Guildford's 1st XV Manager Colin Squance summed up their incredible run when he commented: "It has been quite a season with the first team winning 25 of the 26 games they have played in cup and league. I am particularly pleased for the players as many are home grown; individuals whom you will have seen year after year, through some bad times as well as the good. I guess its what our amateur clubs are all about."

Whilst there is no doubt that Guildford have had a superb season, Cornish are in the midst of a record breaking run of their own, as 'The Exiles' look to secure third place in the table, which would represent their highest ever final league position. The statistics from this present run are staggering - nine wins from the past ten league matches, and seven four try bonus point wins on the bounce. The last three games have seen 119 points scored with just 33 conceeded. A quite sensational penultimate home game of the season is in the offing between the two in-form teams in our division.

The 2s are also in REMPF action against Guildford this Saturday, with the game kicking off at 2pm in the Zoo Sports Shield Division Three South. Cornish will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's 20-10 local derby defeat to 3rd placed Rosslyn Park Hatters. The seventh placed Exiles are aiming to break into the top six and have three matches left in order to make it.
