Cornish, with one defeat in their last seven games, are taking on a side in Farnham who have a very impressive pedigree.

Having enjoyed three promotions in successive years, and with an exceedingly impressive home ground, Farnham are a club on the rise, having made the jump from the Surrey Leagues to London Two in double-quick time. This is a club with over 1,000 members, and an exceptionally strong mini and youth rugby set up. It was at Farnham where arguably England's greatest ever player, Jonny Wilkinson learned the game. Other famous alumni are England international Peter Richards and Ryan Wilson of Glasgow Hawks. Whilst they have found life tough this season, there is absolutely no question of this game being straightforward for 'The Exiles'

Farnham go into this game fresh from a vital 18-5 win over Tadley Tigers, which was a huge game at the bottom of the table. This moved them to within three points of Portsmouth, who are presently in the last safe position from relegation. This will mean confidence is high, and belief strong among a side coached by Harlequins star George Robson. With games against Portsmouth and Effingham & Leatherhead to come, Farnham will be extremely confident of avoiding a return to London Three next season, and they will hope to go into those vital games with an impressive result at The REMPF on Saturday.

This weekend sees every one of the four London Cornish sides in action. The 2s will be looking to move into the top half of the Zoo Sports Shield Division Three South table when they host local rivals Rosslyn Park Hatters. Park are one position below Cornish in the table, and three points adrift of 'The Exiles', so this is a very important game indeed. Kick-off at The REMPF is at 2:00pm.

The Choughs are the only Cornish side to hit the road this weekend, as they travel to Ealing to take on Crags Crusaders in the Middlesex Merit Table Division One. The two sides met on the opening day of the season at The REMPF, with the home side winning 7-0. The Choughs are within range of a historic place in the end of season championship play-offs, and go into Saturday's game having won three of their last four games, including last weekend's 71-0 slamming of Grasshoppers. Crags have lost six of their last seven games, but on home soil, will be determined to get revenge for their opening day reverse to The Choughs. Kick-off is at 2:00pm

The Dukes are in REMPF action, hosting Honorary Artillery Company IIs, in a game which kicks off at 2:00pm in the Middlesex Merit Table Division Two. The Dukes are within touching distance of the top four of the league. HAC are placed in third, but have lost three of their last four games, so this is a massive game for The Dukes if they want to push their way into the higher echelons of the league.
