Exiles get job done at resurgent Eagles.

14 points from the boot of fly half George Kimmins is enough to take Cornish to a 19-10 win at relegation threatened Effingham & Leatherhead in London 2 South-West, the result meaning the exiles will claim the title with a bonus point win at Old Tonbridgians on Saturday as they would be 15 points clear with 3 games left but have 17 wins, which Camberley would be unable to match even if they won their remaining matches (in the event of teams being equal on points, wins are the next determining factor). The win came at a price however, as in form centre Miles Rushworth (pictured in action in the game) broke an ankle and damaged ankle ligaments following a high tackle. Elsewhere, with just pride to play for in their penultimate matches, the Choughs went down 17-10 at home to Hammersmith & Fulham 3s in the Middx Merit Table Div 1, and the Dukes lost 42-10 at home to HAC 3s in Middx Merit Table Div 2. 1s match report to follow early in the week. Gaynor Goss's excellent photos are already up on the site.
