Cornish Exiles in the South-East are called upon to be at Hertford RFC this Saturday as Cornwall face a winner takes all clash against Hertfordshire.

If Cornwall are to make the Bill Beaumont Cup Final at Twickenham (The County Championship Final in 'old money') for the second year in a row, then they must beat Hertfordshire on their own patch - therefore your presence and loud vocal support are needed and could make the difference!

Hertfordshire and Cornwall have been in control of the Southern Group this season as both teams have gained bonus point victories over North Midlands and Gloucestershire respectively, meaning that the winners at Hertford on Saturday will be stepping out on the hallowed turf of Twickenham the following weekend to take on the winners of the Northern Group in the final.

Trelawny's Army supporters club will be running at least one coach of travelling fans from Cornwall to the game - but a large turnout from London based Cornwall rugby lovers could help to ensure that the black and golds will get plenty of vocal support in what is sure to be a carnival style atmosphere.

London Cornish are represented in the Cornwall set-up by Director of Rugby Dickon Moon who is on the coaching team once more. "I am immensely proud to be part of the Cornwall Bill Beaumont Cup coaching team for the second year, and delighted that we have reached this point with a Twickenham return still a possibility. Standing in our way is a very strong Hertfordshire side, and the two counties have built up some rivalry in recent seasons. It promises to be a belter, so I hope we can count on plenty of exiled supporters to get up to Hertford on Saturday to roar the lads on!" Dickon said.

In order to reach Hertford's Hoe Lane ground, take the M25, exit at J25 and join the A10. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Great Cambridge Road and remain on this road for approx. 8.5 miles before taking the exit signposted Hertford. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Stanstead Road and then turn left onto Hoe Lane, with the ground approx 300m on the left. The club postcode for SatNav users is SG12 9NZ.

By public transport, from Liverpool Street mainline station, take the service to Ware (not Hertford!) and it is a 5-10 minute walk to the ground - turn left out of the station, go to the end of the road, turn left and walk over the level crossing. Hoe Lane is across the road, with the Royal Oak pub on the corner.

Kick-off is 3pm - wear plenty of black and gold and get ready to roar the boys on for the full 80 minutes - together we can achieve the Twickenham dream!!
