Former Club Pres comments on his medical condition.

"Firstly, thanks to everyone for all the messages of support and apologies for not responding. I don't know if anyone would like to rescind the nice things they said now I survived?

So this is what happened... I collapsed playing five a side last thursday with a brain hemorrhage. I was taken by ambulance from St Austell rugby club to Tresliske Hospital where I had a CT scan and then onto the critical care unit at Derriford. I have had an angiogram and fortunately do not have an aneurysm. The MRI scan too was all clear. This means I have as much chance of it happening again as anyone else which is actually good news!

Basically I am still in Derriford Hospital but hoping to get out on monday after 12 NIGHTS! It initially did not feel like a long time but know it feels like months. They say I will make a full recovery which is fantastic but might take some time. I think it might require some patience. I keep thinking that I'll be like gif for a few months and then slowly get back to normal.

By the way it was a totally freak occurrence and just very unlucky. Nothing to do with smoking or work.

Look forward to seeing you all soon."

We echo Julian's sentiments and pray for his full recovery.
