London Edwardians Hockey Club

It's the Club Day, a great chance for you to get your hands back on a stick over the summer and a day that lets new members meet the Ed's. This year we'll be getting all Olympic on the first Saturday of the Olympic Tournament - we've 3 hours of pitch time at Battersea followed by a get together at the Duke of Cambridge all of which will be mixed in with a heavy mix of Olympic spirit (which I'm assuming is Jaget).

Festivities start at 12:00 at the Battersea Park astro. (please bring light and dark tops)

After the hockey we'll be hosting our own version of the Much Wenlock Olympics, including:

• Tug of War
• Sack Races
• Egg and Spoon
• Three Legged race
• Competitive Egg Catching (it'll all make sense at the time)

Then it's time for showers and off to the Duke for a BBQ (hopefully) at 18:00.

The club will be shouting some of the booze (note, only some).

Be sure to tell all your friends and let us know if you're coming so we can get some idea of numbers.
