The current team was formed by Lorenzo Belpassi and Marco Attanasio after they met the annual Kings College vs. University College Varsity Match in 2007. It started off as wild comments in a bar but they soon realised they shared a common passion for Italian Rugby.
Over the next few days a group was set up on facebook to measure the interest, which turned out to be incredible! Based on this support and the help of brothers (each family having 3 members in the team) we entered the Slough Sevens in July. After a few quickly organised training sessions and a bit of team bonding, the team felt good. Kit was kindly donated by Cafe Mario, Regents Street (Marco Gianitti) and the team was ready to go.
