History

Since its birth in 2005, London South Africa Rugby Football Club (RFC) has maintained its impressive start as one of the most successful young rugby clubs in England. The triumphs of the club over its first four seasons propelled the Warriors XV into London South West Division 2 after three back to back promotions. But after a dissapointing 2009, 2010 season, where LSA where hampered by injuries and loss of key personal, they were relegated to Surrey 1 Division. We are looking for players to join us, we would like to create some more depth in the team by fieling a reserve 18 for the more social members of the club

The club consists of players who have all played at all levels, including representation in provincial and national sides, hard and skilful rugby players. Although our roots are based in the local South African community, we have had the pleasure of witnessing a healthy mix of Welsh, English, New Zealand and Australian Irish and European rugby talent pull on the green and gold jersey over the years.

The main goal for the 2011 season is to build a new look London South Africa, and for this to happen we need an injection of fresh and enthusiastic talent! We had some great support last season and hope to see you all down there again this year! If you are looking to play for LSA, please come join us for Training on Thursdays at 7:15pm at Imber Court, just outside Wimbledon and Earlsfield. It is 15 minutes from both train stations, followed by a 5-10 min warm up wal frome either Thames Ditton or Esher train stations

We look forward to seeing you down at one of our sessions soon!
