History
The team was originally founded in 1955 and played its first recent season in 2005.
If you're studying anywhere in London and feel like playing some lax drop us a line! We practise every Wednesday, play every Saturday, and party hard the rest of the week.
We play in the South of England League, which includes all universities in the region and a few club teams. In 05/06 we finished sixth out of 14, 06/07 we were second from bottom, 07/08 we were 6th/10 and in 08/09 we had our best season yet finishing 4th/10 in a tightly contested year. The 09/10 season saw us overcome some poor results to fight back and avoid relegation in a very strong league.
The season lasts from October to March and we play in tournaments throughout the summer, BluesFest being everyone’s favourite for the mix of camping and lacrosse in early June where we won the Plate competition in 2007. Our annual Alumni match against London's past greats is also a great highlight with many players flying back from abroad for the match (we are currently 1 for 3 but we won the most recent encounter).
We have players from all around the world and a whole range of different abilities, from complete beginners to D1 players, so get in touch if you are looking to try out lacrosse for the first time, improve your skills or are looking for some good quality lacrosse while over in London studying.
